What is your role on the governing body?
I am a parent governor committed to representing the views of all parents.

Tell us a bit about your background
I have a background in film and stage acting, as well as pantomime and dance. Currently I manage a restaurant in Hereford and work in property management where I am the managing director of a company.
I am fluent in oral and written Sylheti and Bengali and have a good command of Hindi and Urdu.

Why is being on the governing body important to you?
Having two children at NBA has given me a great desire to become involved with the academy, sharing my knowledge and experience and helping the Academy move forward.
 
What do you believe to be the key to success?
Particularly in this day and age where you find yourself working with people from all walks of life, I believe that being adaptable and a strong team player is essential to success. Enthusiasm and a strong work ethic are also important qualities to have.
